Tyrecheckers® Alert Caps are suitable for Heavy Vehicles fitted with regular valve stems and with a tyre pressure between 60-170psi including Trucks & Big Rigs, Large Motorhomes, Earth Movers & Trailers.

How do Tyrecheckers Alert Caps Work?

Tyrecheckers Tyre Pressure Alert Caps simply replace the dustcap on your tyre valve. The Alert Caps allow you to monitor your tyre pressure by flashing red when the tyre pressure drops 8psi below the set pressure. This provides you a clear visual warning that your tyre pressure is now below vehicle specifications and your tyre needs to be inflated.

How to fit Heavy Vehicle Tyre Pressure Alert Caps

1. Check tyre pressure & inflate to recommended vehicle pressure.
2. Using your fingers begin to screw alert cap onto the valve stem thread
3. Put the key supplied into grooves of alert cap & continue to twist as tight as you can. (only use key provided to tighten)
   Important The alert cap is now permanently calibrated to the current tyre pressure
4. To verify proper installation, unscrew the cap and it will flash red if fitted correctly.
5. Screw the alert cap back on firmly, using the key provided (see step 3).
   Important A loose cap will cause a flat tyre.
6. The alert cap will now monitor your tyre pressure 24/7. Remove the key and store it in a safe place.
   Important If the tyre pressure drops 8psi the LED light will flash red.

The anti-theft version has a free spinning stainless sleeve around the main housing, which prevents the unit from being removed without the special key.
