Tyrecheckers® Heavy Vehicle LED Alert Caps are suitable for Heavy Vehicles fitted with regular valve stems with a tyre pressure between 60-170psi including: Trucks & Big Rigs, Large Motorhomes, Earth Movers & Trailers.

How do Tyrecheckers® Heavy Vehicle LED Alert Caps Work?
Tyrecheckers® Heavy Vehicle LED Alert Caps simply replace the dustcap on your tyre valve. The Alert Caps allow you to monitor your tyre pressure by flashing red when the tyre pressure drops 8psi below the set pressure. This provides you a clear visual warning when your tyre pressure is below vehicle specifications and needs to be inflated.

How to fit Tyrecheckers® Heavy Vehicle LED Alert Caps
- Check tyre pressure & inflate to recommended vehicle pressure.
- Using your fingers begin to screw alert cap onto the valve stem thread.
- Put the key supplied into the grooves of alert cap & continue to twist as tight as you can.
- Important The alert cap is now permanently calibrated to the current tyre pressure
- To verify proper installation, unscrew the cap and it will flash red if fitted correctly.
- Screw the alert cap back on firmly.
- Important A loose cap will cause a flat tyre.
- The alert cap will now monitor your tyre pressure 24/7. Remove the key and store it in a safe place.
- Important If the tyre pressure drops 8psi the LED light will flash red.
The anti-theft version has a free spinning stainless sleeve around the main housing, which prevents the unit from being removed without the special key.
